Audience: Internationally-trained physicians transitioning into practice in BC, including US-trained physicians

Overview: BC-PIP helps reduce uncertainty, save time and support confident and efficient practice within the BC healthcare system. BC-PIP is not about clinical retraining. It focuses on helping physicians understand how medicine is practiced within the Canadian and BC healthcare systems. The program includes self-paced online modules and a live virtual conference covering BC-specific billing and payment models, prescribing differences, medico-legal expectations, documentation norms, Indigenous health and cultural safety, and physician wellness resources.
